Trim Levels
You'll find five trim levels for the 2025 Subaru Legacy. The base Subaru Legacy trim comes with Subaru's Starlink multimedia system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, active torque vectoring, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The other Legacy trims include the Premium, Limited, Sport, and Touring XT. The Sport is a popular trim, offering an attractive balance of practicality and luxury. It gives owners a standard 12-speaker Harman-Kardon stereo, a more powerful engine, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless access with push-button start, two-tone upholstery with red stitching, and a trunk spoiler.

Powertrain Options
The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. Upper trims get a larger 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Both have a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Legacy is one of the most comfortable sedans to drive, thanks to its standard all-wheel drive and torque vectoring. The Subaru car offers an EPA-estimated gas mileage of up to 35 mpg, giving it competitive fuel efficiency.
Interior and Exterior Details
Redwood City drivers can choose from an extensive array of exterior colors to complement the Legacy's sleek contours, sculpted body lines, and aerodynamic silhouette. Its distinctive presence includes a signature hexagonal grille and bold LED headlights. In the rear, dual exhaust outlets amplify a sporty look and leave a lasting impression.
Open the doors to find a very roomy interior, especially in the back seat, which has 39.5 inches of legroom. The trunk gives owners 15.1 cubic feet of space, augmented by a split 60/40 backseat that folds to allow for extended hauling of items. You'll also have an opportunity to upgrade the cabin with various packages, some of which include leather seating. The front seats are supportive and comfortable with the upper trims, including a manual thigh extension for the driver's seat.

Technology Features
The Starlink multimedia system features a 7-inch screen in the base trim and a large 11.6-inch screen on the other four trims. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect to your smartphone apps for navigation, music, podcasts, and more. In-dash navigation is standard on the Limited and Touring XT trims. Owners can also get optional 4G LTE Wi-Fi.
Standard symmetrical all-wheel drive is a favorite feature of Carlsen Subaru customers. It constantly optimizes traction in rain, snow, and on rough roads by constantly evaluating acceleration, braking, and cornering to deliver power to all wheels. When one wheel slips, it instantly transfers power to the wheels with the most grip.
Subaru EyeSight® Technology
Wherever you drive in the Bay Area and beyond, the 2025 Legacy incorporates a host of advanced safety features that give you peace of mind. This system bundles together several technologies controlled by two color cameras placed unobtrusively near the review mirror. High trims have a third camera for better pedestrian and cyclist detection. Standard driver-assist technologies include advanced adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, pre-collision management, and pre-collision throttle management.
