The new 2023 Subaru Outback lineup features a few impressive changes this year. One of the main ones is the front end is completely restyled. There's a new grille design that stands out more than in previous years, as well as a new slimmer headlight design that gives each model a more modern look. You can also benefit from updates to the Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system, featuring a refreshed camera that's better equipped to provide you with driver assistance cues. The Starlink multimedia system also gains wireless smartphone integration, allowing you to easily and automatically connect your device as soon as you get inside the cabin.

Performance

Under the hood, you'll have two impressive Boxer engine options to choose from. The first is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 182-horsepower and 176 pounds-feet of torque. If you want a stronger performance, opt for a model with a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, featuring 260-horsepower and 277 pounds-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission, and have paddle shifters for greater control while you're behind the wheel.

To help you confidently and easily take on the toughest terrain and weather in our area, all new 2023 Outback models come with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, providing optimal control and traction on any surface, giving you more freedom to take on any adventure off the beaten path. The Outback lineup offers 2,700 pounds of towing with the 2.5-liter engine or up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Design
